This year Christmas was hard on the check book, so my kids didn't get a ton of stuff... which is good, they need to learn that they don't always get anything and everything. Jackson and Gracie were so excited when we went in and woke them up....yeah we set our alarm clock for 6:00. When I was little my Mom always woke us up early if we went already up. They opened all of their gifts and Jackson said "Mom this is my favorite Christmas ever", I was so happy!! That made my day, that shows you that they don't need a lot of things.

Enough is FREAKIN' enough!!!
I feel like my family has been through so much through the past ten years, we don't need anything else to happen!!
Lately it feels like everything is going so wrong, with our health, money situation, my Step Dad having a heart attack last week, and my poor Grandma that is not doing very good... not to mention my wonderful Gramps that has been taking care of her and the house... poor guy, he's getting run down. My Mom and Jay just found out that Jay's son's wife has breast cancer....COME ON!!! I just don't know if I can handle anything else!! I don't understand how some people can have such great lives, have anything, do anything, look good doing it and the rest of us just get shit on... it's not fair!!!

Oh Damn!!
Gracie has such a cute funny personality I just love it. So the other night she was putting on her pj's and she thinks that she can do everything herself... she was putting on her shirt and she kept putting it on backwards, she would take it off and it would come inside out. I would fix it for her and kept telling her that next time just turn it around But, no she would have to pull it all the way off and start over. I was laughing so hard, she was trying her best to get it on right, she tried one more time and it happened again. She took it off and realized that it was inside out again, she said "oh damn" and then handed it to me to finally help her. I won't lie, my kids have bad potty mouths. I always laugh so they think it's ok, I know it's not...but I can't help it.

THEY DID IT!!!
They just told us on Tuesday that they were going to get married today. We were a little shocked that it was this soon, even though they have been engaged since February. They are going to Wendover tonight, so I hope that they have fun, especially with NO KIDS!!! It's funny in the last ten months Eric has gone from single to engaged, a new daddy, married, and now a step dad. I am so happy for them! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Amazing Luck!!!
My friend Amy called me and told me about this radio station giving away prizes if you brought 5 cans of food or a turkey. They were giving away Jazz tickets, Burger King coupons, Utes ticket, hair cuts, and Nintendo DS's. Everyone got to pick an envelope and what ever was inside is what you won. Well, Jackson pulls his envelope and starts to walk outside. The guys were following him because he hadn't opened his envelope, Amy stopped him to help him open it and it was the Nintendo DS!! Who would have thought.
We are not very up to date on electronic things, so he had no idea what he had just won!! When he first saw it he wanted nothing to do with it because it was pink, so on the way home we stopped at Wal-mart to see if they would exchange it for a blue one. But, they wouldn't because the warranty had already been activated on the pink one. We just ended up exchanging one of the games because they were both very girly games. On the way home he kept saying that he was sad, but as soon as we got home he could'nt care less what color it was. I just couldn't believe that he had won that after all of the people that had been there earlier!!Saturday, November 15, 2008
Thanks South Salt Lake
I just have to give South Salt Lake Fire Department a big Thank You!!!
Life is NOT fair!!! My Grandma had a hip replacement almost a year ago, and we all thought that after the surgery she could get back to the things she loves to do... Well it did'nt all work out that way. She has struggled since then to go up stairs, get in and out of cars, and even walk. The other day her and my Gramps went some where and when they got home she couldn't get out of the car, he had to call the fire department to come and help him get her in the house. The fire department was right there to help her, and we are grateful for them!!! My Gramps has done such a great job taking care of her and the house!!! We love them both so much, I just wish that the surgery would have helped her!!!Friday, November 7, 2008

Flu Shot...Not So Bad!!!
One thing about me is that I HATE shots, I hate having to get them and hate my kids having to get them. But, this year I got a flu shot... it really is not all that bad like everyone makes it out to be! The main reason that I got one is for my nephew.. Brayden, I am going to be watching him during the day while his mom and dad are at work. I can't wait and I would do anything for that little guy!!!Wednesday, October 29, 2008
Abducted By Kidney Stones
This is not my kidney stone, but
it looked just like this.
I just want to know how something so small could hurt as bad as it did!!
I would rather have natural child birth again, than have a kidney stone.

So, this morning I had my Mom take me to the E.R. I was having these awful back pains that would not stop or give in a little. I thought that I had a bladder infection, come to find out I was passing a kidney stone. I had some experiences that I have never had before, I had to have oxygen because my oxygen level had dropped so low. I had to have a cat scan, and had to have heart monitors on. I thought that I would have been scared, but I wasn't. I didn't care what they had to do to get this pain to stop! I would never wish this on anybody, I don't understand how something so small could hurt SOOO bad. But, I do have to say that the doctor and nurses were really good at Davis Hospital. This is probably the first real good experience that I have had there. I hope that the other kidney stones just stay put right where they are, I don't want to have to go through that again!!!

Jackson... Crazy Kid!!
So, tonight I got home from work and said hi to Jackson and noticed something different about his face. He had white showing out from under his nose, I asked him what was wrong and he said nothing. I got looking a little closer and noticed a little bit of toilet paper was shoved up his nose and sticking out. I asked him why he had shoved toilet paper up his nose, and he said his nose kept dripping. I started to pull and pull... and pull, but could not get it all.( it came down to getting the tweezers out). I thought that I had gotten it all... until I had him lean his head back, and noticed that he had even more up there. I could not believe how much toilet paper he had put up there!!! It was pretty funny, but me and Clint kinda scared him now about putting things up his nose. At least he didn't just let it run down his face... Right?? Crazy Kid!!Friday, October 24, 2008
Black Island Farms

Gracie playing in the corn

Me and Clinty

Jackson, Hayley, and Gracie

If you haven't been to Black Island Farms, you need to go! It was so much fun, they have a few different slides that everyone can go down (the best part is watching the adults come down). We all laughed for about an hour, as all of the people would come down the slide they would get up to walk off and slip on the plastic and fall right on their butts. We were laughing so hard our stomachs were hurting. At one point Jackson was sitting on the bale of hay laughing so hard that he fell off the back of it. Other families that were there finally caught on to what we were laughing at and stayed around to watch people fall, we could have stayed there all night. Sorry to all of those that we laughed at, you made our night!!! Thanks Mom and Jay for the gut aching night! :)

My Dad in Heaven
Every year around this time as the Holidays are coming up, it gets really hard without my Dad being here. I wish so much that he could be here to play with Jackson and Gracie, and be able to watch them grow up. But, I know that he hand picked them in heaven. I just hope that they will always remember him and know everything that they can about him. He was such a AWESOME Dad. I hope that he is watching over us and is proud of us. The things that I miss the most about him are the things that bugged me the most ( kinda funny how that works). He used to always tap on my shoulders because he knew that it drove me nuts, now I would do anything for it. I miss his smile, his laugh, I miss his hugs, but most of all I miss hearing his voice. Jackson and Gracie always have questions on why and how he died, and how do you explain that to a six and three year old ? Everytime that we drive by the cemetary, Jackson says "mom your dad died huh?" I have to just tell them that he was sick and that it was his time to go. Jackson says " yeah he's an angel huh mom" It just makes me smile and cry at the same time. Dad you are our angel and I love and Miss You so much!!!

Gracie..Gracie..Gracie...
Yesterday we were over at my friend Tiffany's house, we were there for a while. Gracie had discovered that she had some febreeze spray in her bathroom. Gracie had been spraying it all over the house, she brought this doll in and gave it to Tiffany,it was Soaking wet, we didn't know what she had gotten into to. Sure enough it smelled like her febreeze, come to find out that Gracie had pee'd in her pants and was trying to hide it (keep in mind that Gracie has been potty trained for a long time). She had sprayed herself, the doll, floors, chairs, and the countertops. Who knows what else she had sprayed that we did'nt see. Sorry Tiff, I felt so bad. I now owe her a new bottle of febreeze.
