Do You Smell Rotten EGGS?!?

Grampy thought that boiled eggs sounded pretty good for lunch, so he decided to boil about 15 eggs. Then the distraction came...went outside....seen something needed to be painted that very moment....What eggs are boiling while i'm outside? Toto...the neighbors dog, Grampy's friend started barking, kept barking wanting him to go out front to see something. He went out nothing was there, so he went back to work....damn yappy dog! Here she comes again barking really trying to get his attention this time, so he goes and looks again this time she's on the porch barking. He opens the door to let her in and all he could say is "what smells like rotten eggs?" He had forgotten that he had eggs boiling.....for over TWO HOURS now. They had exploded and were all over the wall, fridge and floor, He said that after he got everything cleaned up he had to go find something else for lunch. We laughed so hard!!!! He is so funny he said that it was Mom's fault because she had told him that she had boiled eggs earlier in the week and he thought that they sounded good. He cracks us up!!! ( no punt intended)

Help Needed

Sunday we got a phone call from Clint's Mom (Lana), His brother Cade's house had burned down earlier in the day. They lost everything including their dog. Cade's girlfriend is pregnant and having a another baby boy, they already have a two year old boy. They are staying in a hotel for now, if anyone has anything that they would be willing to donate to them please let me know....they could use anything. They live in Wyoming, so Clint's Mom and Dad are getting a truck together to take to them. They would be grateful for anything!!!

Kennecott Copper

Fun day with Grampy!!!

Me, Mom, Jackson, and Gracie went down to Salt Lake to see Grampy and to go to Grams grave, when we got there Grampy said we should go to Kennecott for the kids to see. The kids had a blast, they watched all of the HUGE dumptrucks....the tires are 12 feet tall. We walked around the museum Jackson and Gracie thought it was so cool, they had dinosaur bones and teeth, old army and minor hats, and a short movie telling them about what they do. My Grandpa use to work there and it was fun hearing all of his stories and telling us what everything did....He could not believe how much it had changed. On the way home Jackson said Mom I want to go there again. Thanks Grampy for the fun day...the kids had a blast.

It hurt like a beotch, but I did it!!!

I went last night and got my first tattoo ( I will post pictures later). I got it on my foot, and let me say OUCH!!! I love it, I am so glad that I got it done! It is a star with angel wings for my Dad and Grandma, and two other stars for Jackson and Gracie.

Tuesday night we went down to Salt Lake to visit with Grampy and have dinner with him. It was fun Cheri was also there and we made Grandma's tacos....YUM. We were all sitting in the kitchen except for Jackson, he said that he had to go to the restroom - if you know Grampy he has a phone in every room. We didn't think anything of it, then the phone rang and I heard Grandpa say no, everythings fine....Guess who it was, it was 911 calling back because some one had called and hung up the phone when they answered. I looked at Cheri and said I don't think that Jackson would have done that, but he had a really scared look on his face. I finally got it out of him that he called using the phone in the bathroom, Clint and I have told him you only call in real emergencies. Cheri told him you only call if your bleeding or someone is badly hurt....his response was well I had a bloody nose last week. Me and Cheri started to laugh and had to explain to him in a different way. Poor Grampy he was all worried that he should call them back and tell them that a 6 year old boy called and hung up on them. On the way home we got the rest of the story out of him by threating that he'll be grounded...it was pretty funny I think that he has learned his lesson .

Mom and I were at the mall and we went into Hallmark...they had tons of webkinz. Gracie thought that she just had to have one and kept asking and I told her no probably 20 times. We left and were headed through Macey's to go back to the car and Jackson says "Mom, Gracie has that dog from the other store". I look in her arms were the dog is buried under them and sure enough there's the dog. Me and Mom look at each other in SHOCK that she took it, I grabbed it out of her hands and took it back to the store. Jackson told her that the cops are going to come and arrest her and she started crying. I couldn't believe that she really had taken it...the whole way home, she kept saying I still want that puppy!!! Why do kids think that they have to have stuff that they really don't need, besides I'm not going to spend fifteen dollars on a stuffed animal!!!

Jay went into the doctor on Monday for a check up. They thought that he had ammonia, but thank goodness he didn't.....well today he goes back in because hes not feeling well and guess what...........he has bronchitis (don't forget about the blood clot in his lungs). What the FUUU!!!!!! My Mom has totally HAD it!! rEaLlY when is this going to end???!!! disclaimer...mom really doesn't take prozac :)

What the hell next?!?

Wouldn't you think that enough stuff has gone on lately.....Well Jay went into the hospital again on Wednesday. They found out that he has a blood clot in his lungs!!! They have put him on a blood thinner, and are hoping that he can come home tomarrow. My poor Mom has gone through so much, I'm not sure how much more she can take. She sounds so tired and drained, I don't know what to do to help her. The past 4 weeks have really been unreal!!! My Gramps has been so cute, he came up Wednesday night, and then spent the day with Mom at the hospital on Thursday. I just hope and pray that everything turns out to be ok!!!

It Doesn't Seem Real

It just feels like I am in a dream...Grams really can't be gone. I miss her so much already!!! It seems as if she is on vacation or something, it has not set in that she is never going to back with us. I am so lucky to have had in her my life...she has always been there for us, my family has gone through so much and she was always the "rock" that we needed. I will always remember everything that we had done together and having those special days with her and Gramps.

Haylee...The Birthday Girl

Papa and Dada took the kids to Classic Skating for Haylee's Birthday last week. They had so much fun, they just ran around like chickens with their heads cut off....they are so fun to watch. Especially, when they try so hard to skate, I think it's harder on us trying to keep them up. Jackson and Graice's favorite is the big bouncers they play sooo hard their cheeks turn bright red. Thanks Papa and Dada for the fun night!!!

The other day we were driving down the road and passed Syracuse cemetary and Gracie says " Mom is Grandma Grape still in her angel bed?" I said yes she will always be in her angel bed. I thought that it was so cute that she saw her casket as an angel bed. I am so lucky that they got to know and will always remember "Grandma Grape". ( They always thought we were saying grape when we were saying great).

Jackson...Mr Politics

Wednesday night we were driving to Salt Lake to see my Grandpa...We were on the freeway and Jackson says "Mom look there's the White House were that brown guy lives". I just smiled and told him that was the Capitol and not the White House, I had to explain the differences to him and who the "brown guy" was. He's so funny, sometimes I don't realize that he's even paying attention. Kids know a lot more than we give them credit for....Smart Little Turd!!!

In Loving Memory

My sweet Grams is now my sweet angel... I am going to miss her so much I am so sorrry that she had to go through so much in the past little while. Everyone is trying to be strong, but it is hard. On Monday my Gram kept writting letters...because she couldn't talk. She wrote that she has a great journey ahead of her and not to be sad. My Gramps was so sweet, he would put his head to hers and he would just cry. He would kiss her forehead and cheeks and she would rub it in so it stayed. Their love and marriage is so special they have been married for 57 years...amazing!! Everyone got to say good bye to her... I told her that I loved her so much and that I'll miss her, I asked her to tell my Dad that I love him and miss him....she shook her head up and down saying yes. She is so special to me, I will never forget everything that she has done for me, my family, and for everyone that knew her. I will miss her with all of my heart, I just know that they are celebrating her in heaven and she is with my Great Grandma (her mom), and my dad, my uncle Steve and we can't forget about Brookie (my mom's bassett hound).

Gram, I love you and will miss you so much!!!

My poor Gramps and Grams

Tonight I went down to the hospital to see my Grandma...it was worse than I was expecting. She has to have this huge ventilator on her face, it drives her crazy... and it looks a little clastrophobic. I feel sooooo bad for her. They have found out that she has Lou Gerins disease (i'm not sure how to spell his name). It is a disease that takes away all of your mobility...walking, talking, even swallowing. Everything goes except your brain. She totally knows what's going on and she's being so brave!!! Tomorrow they are taking the feeding tube out and putting it in her stomach...this will be so much better because the tube is killing her throat.

It's funny how sickness and death can bring a family together and then soon after it's tore apart. I don't understand why some family members have to be so selfish!!!

I love you Grams so much and I love you and I am so proud of you Gramps for also being so brave through this time in your life.

I was REALLY hoping!!

All I can say is that I was really hoping that 2009 would be a better year, but so far it is proving me wrong!

My poor Grandma is not doing well at all!!! I feel sooooo bad because I have not seen her since Thanksgiving, every time that I plan to go down to see her we are sick...I don't want to get her sicker, or she's having a bad day and don't need visitors.

I just hope that everything turns out ok. She was taken to the hospital today to be put on a ventilator...it's not permanent right now, they have to see what's all going on....Oh and my Grandpa went to the doctors on Saturday because he had ulcers on his legs and....he's got staff infection. What do you know it just never freakin' ends!!! He's been going in everyday for a shot to try and get rid of it, they gave him his shot this morning before taking my Grandma up to the ICU . All I can say is please God let everything be ok!!!
